Common Club Questions/Answers-

Updated: Oct 16

- How does my clubber earn Awana bucks each week? Clubbers can earn Awana bucks by doing any of the following listed below and also for making progress in their club handbooks.

How To Earn Awana Bucks:

  • Wear Awana uniform = 1 Awana Buck

  • Participate in theme = 1 Awana buck

  • Bring Bible = 3 Awana bucks

  • Bring Club handbook = 5 Awana bucks

-What does my clubber(s) do at club each week? All Clubbers start at our Opening Ceremony and then they go through 3 different rotations*. Counsel Time - a time where they get to hear one of our counsel time teachers teach about God's truths in a large group setting Handbook Time - where they work in their club handbooks to dig into God's word and tuck it in their hearts Game Time - where they get to learn how to cheer for their team, learn how to be a good sport and have fun! Then we end all together at our Closing Ceremony *Trek middle school is slightly modified as their Counsel Time and Handbook Time is not in a large group setting.

-I heard they earn things like prizes or pins how does that work? Sparks - earns badges and jewels for the sections that they complete in their handbooks. T&T - earns Awana bucks, patches and backpack pins for what they complete in their handbooks. We've added a halfway party this year (2024) at Ultimate Air! All T&T clubbers who complete all Explore sections through the first half of their handbook will get to attend Ultimate Air! See Handbook calendar for halfway point and other achievement nights marked with a Star.

Trek - earns Awana bucks and backpack pins also for what they complete in their handbooks

-I've heard them talking about a treasure chest can you explain? Well we did do away with giving the clubbers candy at the end of the club night.. can I hear a collective cheer from all of you lol.. !! :) Instead we are doing a treasure chest reward.. Throughout the night the clubbers are broken down onto different teams. Their teams can earn points throughout the night by doing different things such as the team that lines up first and quietest on their color line at game time or the team that listens best and participates during counsel time etc. At the end of the night, the team with the most points gets to come pick out something from the Awana treasure chest!

Bring A Friend Night- Bring a friend now is now just a few times a year, as noted on the club calendar. To bring a friend on these nights, we would love to know in advance who you are bringing so we can prepare a name tag for them and properly count them in with the rest of the club for safety reasons! Friends who wish to come back to club will need to apply/register via the link on our homepage, space subject to availability. :)
